In a way it's weird these are allowed in China because they dont exactly show a nice picture of China. Full of backstabbing, corruption and nepotism. But maybe they get around it because it's fiction, but a LOT of Chinese animation have these themes so are obviously influenced by their lives kinda like how Japanese dreams of isekai instead of the insane work grind of the own lives, Chinese seemingly dreams of sticking it to the wealthy and corrupt (and getting to the top yourself).
